Bios

 Hey I’m Karynne. I grew up in Redmond, OR, quite a small town. I moved to Washington in 2003 to become an AmeriCorps member (working at Quil Ceda Elementary on the Tulalip Reservation) and later moved to Olympia to attend The Evergreen State College where I have studied post-colonial studies, Middle East studies, women’s studies, and representation and reception theory, but I found my love in media studies and in media production. I am currently employed by KAOS (Evergreen’s radio station) as the public affairs producer.
